Japanese Wine

Although legend promotes Japanese wine production as far back as the 1st century BC, it was truly only adopted in the latter half of the 19th Century, although documentation has been found of wine consumption by the Jesuits in the 16th Century, but this probably would have been imported with them from Portugal.

Nowadays, modern wineries and techniques are producing some stunning examples and these must be tried to be believed.
