Lindsay McCall started Paringa Estate in 1984 after buying a run-down orchard in the middle of Victoria's stunning Mornington Peninsula.

In the middle of the 1970s, Lindsay developed a passion and interest for wine. By the middle of the 1980s, he made the decision to pursue his goal by starting Paringa Estate. Three tonnes of fruit were used in the first vintage in 1988, and output has increased significantly over time to 16,000 cases today.

One of Australia's most prestigious boutique wineries, Paringa Estate consistently takes home awards for its Shiraz, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. According to Lindsay, wherever that can grow excellent Pinot Noir should also be able to grow great Pinot Gris, therefore the collection contains a gorgeous and precise Pinot Gris.

James Halliday calls Paringa Estate "one of the best, if not the best, wineries on the Peninsula" and praises the wines paying homage to Burgundy.
