From one of the best sub-zones in Gavi, the wine is fragrant with hints of grapefruit and white flowers through to a salty dry finish.

Michele Chiarlo owns 50 hectares of vineyards situated in the most prestigious areas and produces top quality wines.

From his 13 hectare hillside vineyards situated in the Rovereto district in Piemonte, Italy, Chiarlos has advanced vinification facilities at the heart of this small but privileged area in which they have also selected the finest vineyards for the production of their wine.

Situated on subsoils dominated by chalk and marl of volcanic origin, rich in iron and magnesium, these vines yield small quantities of fruit which produce a Rovereto Gavi del Comune di Gavi of exceptional finesse and surprising longevity.
