| Cantina Sacchetto was founded in 1920 in Italy, and today is run by Filiberto Sacchetto, his son Paolo and daughter Beatrice. The winery is situated at the point where the provinces of Treviso, Padua and Venice meet and precisely in a small town called Trebaseleghe. The Company specialises in wines from the Veneto and works with long term contract growers. Sacchetto wines are sold to all corners of the world and the company is well recognized for the elegance of its packaging and commercially priced wines. Grapes: Pinot Noir with a small percentage of Pinot Bianco Winemaking: The grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed. Maceration on skins lasts a few hours. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. This semi-sparkling wine owes its bubbles to a partial second fermentation in tank, a sort of interrupted charmat process sparkling wine. Colour: Rosehip pink Serve: At 7-8C as an aperitif or to accompany salami hors d'oeuvres, soup, poultry, pork and quiche Taste: Fruity berry bouquet, balanced and lively with a refreshing finish. | Available Options: | | Vintage: | | |
