| The bodega is situated in the foothills of the Andes in the Cafayate region around Salta in Northwest Argentina in one of the most scenic regions of this country. The vineyards are planted at 1,700 metres making them the highest commercial sites in the world. Cool climate plays a key part with great variations between night and day time temperatures, slowing down the ripening cycle and ensuring the development of good varietal character. Michel Torino is well recognised on the international market and is renowned for its excellent wine quality, elegant label design and premium presentation. His white wines are renowned for their smooth, elegant flavours and outstanding quality. Grapes: 100% Chardonnay from the Michel Torino Estate. Harvest: Hand picked in early February. Winemaking: The grapes were pneumatically pressed and fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Colour: Pale yellow. Serve: Chilled as an aperitif or to accompany chicken, turkey, veal, salmon, trout and creamy pasta dishes. Taste: Fresh citrus aromas with hints of pears and of buttery apple pie.
