| The Kreuznacher Kronenberg originates from the Nahe Valley in Germany, situated between the Mosel and the Rhine. The wines from the Nahe vary considerably due to the different soil types. Rieslings from steep slopes where the soil is slatey are amongst Germany's top white wines. The even climate, warm summers and mild winters, is typical for this region. This wine comes in the traditional Blue Bottle; a reminder back to the time when the bottles were made on the land and the cobalt from the region used to colour the bottles blue. Grapes: 100% Riesling Soil: Slate. Serve: Chilled at 11 to 14C to accompany poultry, ham pork or fish dishes. Great with cheese and onion pies. Also ideal as a light aperitif. Taste: The wine is labelled in a special blue Nahe colour; an old tradition. The wine itself is fruity, fresh and elegant with a bouquet reminiscent of summer flowers. A wine to be enjoyed within 3 years of vintage. | Available Options: | | Vintage: | | |
