| In 1923, Chuo Budoshu was established in Katsunuma, the birthplace of the wine industry in Japan.
Grace Wineries efforts to make good quality wine, while taking into account the climate and the soils as well as using modern techniques, are evident in this stunning example of the Koshu grape. The Koshu, the Japanese traditional variety, are grown in a mountainous district , which increases the concentration of flavour.
The soils, climate and viticultural efforts all help to produce highly concentrated grapes and therefore high quality wines. Grapes: 100% Koshu Region: Katsunuma, Japan Colour: Pale lemon yellow, fine and brilliant Notes: Fresh delicate grapefruit and lemon aromas with white floral touches and nuances of lemongrass. Palate: Dry, crisp, delicate, light bodied, fresh and fruity! Soft in the mouth with lively acidity and citrus notes; very well balanced. Spicy note of white pepper lingers.
