Their 75 hectares of vineyards, in one single block, and their state-of-art winery are located on the outskirts of the town of Molina in the Curicó Valley, 200Km south of Santiago. Grapes: 100% Estate grown Carmenere, from ungrafted selected clones of pre-phylloxera French rootstock. Vinification: Fermented to dryness in stainless steel tanks for 7 days at 25-28â—¦c controlled temperature. Extended Skin maceration for additional 10 days. 100% malolatic fermentation. Aged in 225lt American and French oak barrels for 10 months. Alc: 14%, R/s 2.5 g/l Colour: Garnet red with violet gleams. Serve: At room temperature to accompany roast red meats, rich pasta dishes and cheese. Will cellar up to 7 years. Taste: Extremely rich and velvety, this attractive Carmenere combines intense aromas of rip cherries and blackberries, with hints of red bell peppers, dried fruits and spices.
