| BRONZE MEDAL - Decanter World Wine Awards 2010 Alvarinho is a white variety, original from the Upper Minho, in Portugal. Their aromatic complexity, some times with a dominant fruity character, other times with a wonderful combination of fruity and floral notes make them extremely pleasant and delicate. A balanced acidity adds the freshness that most consumers also look for in white wines. Area: Vinho Verde, Portugal Varietal: Alvarinho Vinification: Grapes were transported to the winery, lightly pressed and fermented cool in stainless steel tanks at between 15 and 18 degrees.
